(Question) I can't detect my EZ Rider router from my PC, what could be the problem?

Answer:
-Check all the cable attachments and ensure that all connections are intact.
-If necessary, reboot the EZ Rider.
-Re-install the EZ Rider Software manager.
- Swap the PC and cable to see if that will help.

What is the normal LED status displayed on the front panel of the EZ Rider if a proper connection is established?

Answer: The Power LED and LINK LEDs on both the LAN and WAN section of the panels should be green and solid. The Rx LED in the WAN section of the panel should be blinking if there are data packets passing through.

How do I share my Internet connection using the EZ Rider?

Answer: You would have to enable NAT in the EZ Rider manager and also make sure that all the connected PC's Gateway IP point to the EZ Rider's LAN IP address.

Is it possible to configure the EZ Rider to enable on-line game playing or act as an FTP server?

Answer: You would have to make adjustments to the Port Mapping feature. Please contact ARESCOM's technical support for specific details if you still persist to have problems.

I lost my password to open the EZ Rider software manager, what should I do?

Answer: Change the Subnet Mask or IP address for either the PC or EZ Rider to make sure that they are on a different Subnet. Next, open the EZ Rider Software Manager and delete all the existing configurations and reset the unit to the manufacturer mode. Once this is accomplished, you should be abe to clear the password and create a new one.

When I turn on the EZ Rider, all the LEDS are on, what could be the problem?

Answer:
- Reboot the unit. If this does not work, contact ARESCOM's technical support for furthur assistance and advise.
