Apex Wizard(tm)
Designed for first time users, Apex Wizard™ walks you through the configuration process with user-friendly graphics.

Advanced
Advanced gives more experienced users greater control over configuration settings during setup and management. Some more technical features are only available in Advance, such as automatic disconnection, port mapping, packet filtering, dial-on-demand, dial-in connections, and IP routing table.

Status
To help you monitor your router, Status displays up-to-date information on the router's front panel LEDs, byte counter, packet counter, B1 and B2 channels, and ISDN speed. To give you greater control over your ISDN line, the Status feature includes a connect/disconnect button. The Status feature also gives you access to the Event Log. This log file helps you pinpoint the date and time connectivity occurred.

Tools
The Tools feature consists of Diagnostic, Upgrade Firmware, Dial-On-Demand Log and Reset Router.

  • Diagnostic tests internetworking connectivity and the condition of the Apex 1100.
  • Upgrade Firmware downloads software upgrades for the Apex 1100.
  • Dial-On-Demand Log displays the time, host IP, host MAC Address, Protocol and requested port number for each computer that triggers DOD.
  • Reset Router replaces your custom configurations with default settings.
