Assumptions

Phone Masks: Phone 1 has Pots1 checked and Phone 2 has Pots 2 checked.

Telephone Sets: Phone1 attached to Pots1 and Phone2 attached to Pots2.

Symptoms

• If pots 1 is occupied by voice, an incoming call can go through to phone 2.
• If pots 2 is occupied by voice, an incoming call cannot go through to phone 1. Caller will hear the busy signal.
• If one B channel is connected with data, dial into either phone 1 or phone 2 (separately, not simultaneously) will ring phone1 or phone2.

Applications

When no data connection is being used, and Phone2 is occupied by a voice connection, then a caller can dial in via the available channel and ring Phone1.

Phone Masks: Phone 2 must have Pots1 AND Pots 2 checked and Phone1 should only have Pots 1 checked.

Dialing Number: Caller has to dial Phone 2 instead of Phone 1.
