Auto-Forwarding

The purpose of autoforwarding is to direct a range of ports to a designated station on the IP master + NAT enabled LAN. This is crucial for applications running on a private LAN that need to send data to a specific port to properly establish and maintain a session.



.Assumption

Only assigned one legal account from ISP
Router is running in IP Master mode and NAT enabled
Using Window GUI for configuration
A range of port is needed for proper running of the application

Key Configuration

  • From the EZRider manager > Configuration > General Configuration > Auto forward Table
  • To add a new auto forwarding item, click the Add button. An Add New Auto Forwarding Item window will open.
  • Enter From Low (600), To High (699) and Control port (80) for the range of ports that need to be directed to designated LAN station.
  • Enter the LAN IP of the station which the ports are directed to.
  • Enter the protocol type of the protocol selected
