ARESCOM Demonstrates Widespread Interoperability with the DSLAM Equipment of Every Major North American ILEC FREMONT, California, -June 20, 2001- ARESCOM, INC., a leading global provider of broadband infrastructure solutions for telecommunication carriers, CLECs and ISPs, announced today that ARESCOM's ADSL CPE solutions have successfully demonstrated widespread interoperability with the DSLAM equipment of the four largest ILECs in North America. After a round of rigorous physical layer testings in the testing labs
of each ILEC, ARESCOM's ADSL CPE solutions successfully interoperate
with the DSLAM equipment installed by the four major ILECs. This equipment
includes the most popular and DSLAM equipment currently being used by
all the major DSL providers. These test results once again demonstrate
the superior interoperability of ARESCOM's NetDSL CPE modem and router
product line. Moreover, ARESCOM's impressive DSLAM interoperability
track record will enable ARESCOM to further consolidate its growing
global presence in the DSL market. Rick Lyons, Vice-President of Sales, comments, "ARESCOM is extremely excited to show such a strong DSLAM interoperability record with the four largest North American ILECS, which in turn, adds value for the consumer and paves the way for us to bring our DSL CPE solutions to the mass market. Proven interoperability with multiple key DSLAM vendors will also greatly expand our future deployment opportunities with RBOCs, CLECs, and ISPs employing similar DSLAM solutions."
