ARESCOM's NetDSL 1000 gives the user a variety of features and functions that incorporate ease-of-use with rest-assured security at an affordable price. This particular device has great flexibility that can be used in one, or all, of the following ways: ADSL Modem, Bridge, and an IP Router. ARESCOM extends the NetDSL 1000's extensive, flexible network management capabilities through the choice of: Windows® based Manager GUI, web browser, command line via Telnet, SNMP, and Remote Manager™.

This solution is ideal for the SOHO that is price conscious and needs great flexibility, with ease of use. NetDSL 1000 can support up to 256 users through a hub. It has the router capabilities already built in!

Remote Manager
ARESCOM's NetDSL 1000 IP PRO Router can be managed and monitored remotely from the Windows® based Remote Manager™. The Remote Manager™ is run through a pre configured ATM PVC. The ease of use for this feature is an attractive benefit for complex network systems in the corporation and small office or home office environments. Telcos and service providers can monitor their customer's modems and setup to make sure the equipment is configured properly. This reduces the hassles and confusion between the user and the customer service center. The management capabilities can also be run through remote Telnet.

Security
If you have concerns about the safety of your computer or system, the Net DSL 1000 has ease-of-mind built in with authentication protocols PAP, CHAP, and MS-CHAP. To give further assurance, included is the ability for administrative password authentication and IP Packet filtering.
